How secure is BuildingBlok?

BuildingBlok uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)/Transport Layer Security (TLS) to protect data in transit. It's designed to create a secure tunnel protected by 128-bit or higher Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption.

Where is BuildingBlok's data stored?

BuildingBlok uses Amazon's AWS Cloud Technology, which provides a scalable, reliable, and secure platform for your data. We back up to multiple locations so that your data stays safe.

Where do I download the BuildingBlok mobile app?

BuildingBlok's mobile app is available for Apple iOS and Google Android

How does 14 day free trial work?

It’s as easy as enter your email and click Get Started button. Once you set up a password and enter company name, you can start adding employees, tracking employee hours, creating projects, etc. After the trial, you can click upgrade or close your account.

What if my trial runs out before I get a chance to test the software?

We understand that time flies when you are busy working. If you really want to trial our software but you ran out of time, just reach out and we can discuss alternatives.

How long are your contracts?

BuildingBlok's plans are monthly or at a discount annually. We make it simple to start and stop your service at any time.

Does BuildingBlok integrate with other software?

For most tools which allow you to import or export data, it is compatible with CSV files. So you can easily convert Excel spreadsheets to CSV and upload it. We are also working on payroll integration which will be coming soon.

I would like to learn more about your products. Can I get a demo?

Yes you may do so by filling out BuildingBlok Qualification Survey, this will help us tailor the demo to your company needs. You may also schedule a time to talk to our team with any questions.

Can I export my data before cancelling?

Yes you can go to each tool and use export or download options. You can also put in a request for us to download and send you all the data. Please keep in mind this may take more time.

How do I cancel my account?

Canceling BuildingBlok is easy. Contact us at 800-708-2565, email us support@buildingblok.com or click the chat icon on the bottom right so we can help you.

How do I reset my password?

You can reset your password by going to the Sign in page and clicking the Forgot your password? link

I haven't received my invitation/reset/report email yet. When will it be sent?

Some email clients will sort BuildingBlok emails into the Junk or Spam folders. Be sure to check both, and don't forget to whitelist !

I entered wrong email or phone number, how do I update it?

Please contact our customer support team.

I got a new email and would like to update my account, what should I do?

You may login using your old email address and under my account, enter your new email address. Please make sure to check your inbox to verify your new email.

Can my employees sign up without an email address?

In order to log in and enter time on their own, employees need an email address.

Can I use the Mobile app without WIFI?

In order for time entries to be synced with Buildingblok an internet connection is needed. This can be either Wifi or from your cellular data plan. If you do enter time without internet, it will be synced whenever you connect to the internet again. When you do so, No GPS location will be recorded.

I got a new email and would like to update my account, what should I do?

You may login using your old email address and under my account, enter your new email address. Please make sure to check your inbox to verify your new email.

Why am I not receiving emails?

You may check your notification settings. Here is an article on how to do so. If your notifications are on but you are still not receiving emails, please check your spam folder or contact support to check if you have been unsubscribed.

My co-workers can see projects or files but I can’t, why is that?

You have to check in with your account admin to make sure that one, you have permissions or two, that you are added to the project or a specific file. If this does not help, please reach out to our team directly.

How do I delete a project?

There is no option to delete a project, this ensures that no user accidentally deletes an important file. What you can do instead is archive a project. That way the project does not appear on your main page, or in the active reports.

What are the hours for customer support?
